| NEVER buy any fire or intruder
alarm equipment from doorstep salesmen. Some unscrupulous firms send teams
of high pressure salespeople into an area, where they target vulnerable people.
This could be the elderly, infirm or even busy and harassed young mums! Do not let them in and ensure that you inform your local police and Trading Standards department that they are working your area. Be aware that they will often give the impression that they are police approved. They sell basic (sometimes inferior) products and charge inflated prices; often as much as £3000!!. |
